Janice Mitchell Obituary, Death – Janice Mitchell, who was the creator of PAWS and served as the board treasurer, lost her battle with a multitude of health concerns last night and passed away this morning. She had been struggling with these challenges for a considerable amount of time. We were very close to her, so hearing the terrible and tragic news that she had passed away was something that we had to do with a very heavy heart. We are the ones who have to break the news to you. As a direct result of the news, our rescue community, which is made up of volunteers, along with the many people who collaborate with us and work alongside us, are all in a state of shock and numbness.
We beseech you all in the most humble manner to please pray not just for Bob, her hubby, but also for ourselves. We will all miss your love, support, and dedication to the welfare of the unfortunate and homeless creatures of Rutherford County, but most of all, we will miss your endearing smile and selfless dedication as a friend to a large number of people. We will all miss you. We are all going to miss you, Janice. We shall miss your love, support, and dedication to the welfare of the disadvantaged and homeless creatures of Rutherford County when you are gone. We’ll never forget you. PAWS will move forward with the same level of dedication that you have modeled for the rest of us over the course of the past ten years.
We are very grateful for all that you have done. Now that everything has been resolved, my prayer is that you will find peace not only with your daughters Melissa and Julie but also with your brother Rodney. I hope and pray that this will be the case.
