I’m shattered to share that my loving grandmother, Janet Thrasher, has passed away. Granny, as I called her, was like a second mother to me. Most of the happiest memories I have from my childhood include her being a proud, doting, loving and supportive grandmother to me. A lot of who I am today is because of the example of love and kindness to others that she set as far back as I can remember. As an adult, I got to watch her share her same love towards my 2 other beautiful cousins Aurora and Maci. It made me understand love in a whole new way. The three of us grandchildren were lucky to have someone who truly beamed with so much pride and joy each and every time she saw us. I won’t claim to know where she is now. But I hope she’s with my uncle Josh, her youngest son, who we lost in 2007.
