Janet Mann Obituary, Death – On November 12, 2022, Janet (Olges) Mann, who had lived in Louisville, Kentucky for her entire life and had reached the age of 65, passed away. Janet continued her education at the University of Kentucky after graduating from Waggener High School, where she had spent her high school years. Her attention was on the rearing of her three children and, later, her three grandkids throughout her entire life. She also had three children of her own and three grandchildren. It is well knowledge that she enjoys keeping the score while playing softball, which is also one of her favorite activities. It was a source of great pleasure for Janet to accompany her children and grandchildren on their many activities of interest and to provide moral support for them.

Her departure came before that of her parents, Raymond Olges and Doris (Krupp) Olges. Both of her parents went away before she did. She is survived by her adoring and devoted husband of over 41 years, Steve Mann; her children, Emily Foley (Eric), David Mann (Sarah), and Katie Devine (Ben); her brother, Daniel Olges (Martha); her sister, Judy O. Schmitt (Richard); and her grandchildren, Logan, Scarlett, and William. She is also survived by her brother, Daniel Olges (Martha); her sister, Judy O. Schmitt (Richard); Her parents had gone before her in death before she did.

The start of her funeral Mass is scheduled for ten o’clock in the morning. On Thursday, November 17, 2022, the event will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, which can be found at 508 Breckinridge Ln. The funeral mass and subsequent interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery. The viewing will take place from two in the afternoon to seven in the evening. The Highlands Funeral Home, which can be found at 3331 Taylorsville Rd., will be the location of the services that will be held on Wednesday. Donations made in honor of the person who has passed away may be made to the organization that raises awareness for breast cancer.
