James Watson Obituary, Death – James (Jim) Matthew Watson, age 67, who lived in Hamilton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2022 in Hamilton, Ohio. James (Jim) Matthew Watson was a resident of Hamilton, Ohio. Jim Watson was born to Jack and Liz Watson on July 31st, 1955 in the city of Cincinnati, which is located in the state of Ohio. On the day that he officially became a married man on June 26, 1976, his bride was Marcia Vanness (who survives him).

Jim is also survived by his son, Matt (“Mary Catherine”) Watson; his favorite granddaughter, Jennifer Watson; his grandsons, Christopher and Andrew Watson; three brothers, John (“Kay”) Watson, Joe (“Sharon”), and Mark (“Ruth”) Watson; three sisters, Missy (“Mike”) Pizza, Katie (“Andrew”) Hertlein, and Christy Watson; one brother-in-law, Pete (“Pam”) Vanness; two sisters-in-law, Stephanie Galbraith and His daughter Jennifer and his parents, Buck and Jeannine Vanness, all passed away before he did. His parents died before he did. His spouse’s parents, Buck and Jeannine Vanness, were his stepparents.

Jim was deeply involved in the activities that took place at the Kerusso Baptist Church up until the time of his passing. He held his time with both his biological family and the family he had found in the church in the highest regard. After spending the entirety of the last 29 years of his career working for the Oak Hills Local School District in Cincinnati, he eventually decided to call it quits in the classroom and retire in 2013. He did so in the year 2013.

On Friday, December 2, there will be a visitation held from 5 to 7 o’clock in the evening at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, which can be found at 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. The date and time of the visitation are as follows: On Saturday, December 3, at ten in the morning, there will be a funeral service held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home. Following the funeral service, the burial will take place at Reily Cemetery on Peoria Reily Rd. You are more than welcome to make donations to the Hospice of Hamilton or the Kerusso Baptist Church.
