James Terrell Obituary, Death – James Terrell has unexpectedly passed away. Alex Terrell and Lottie Barrett Terrell welcomed their first child, James, on January 17th in Midway, Texas. He was the third and only boy in the family. He was also the oldest. Tonia, Tony, Timothy, and Tinagene were the children of James and Gloria Jean Morgan, who later became his wife. James had previously met and married Gloria Jean. James received an honorable discharge after serving his country in the Korean War. He was awarded a number of medals and commendations for his service, including the Korean Service Medal with Bronze Stars, the Korean Service Medal, and a Good Conduct Medal.

He began a career in the taxi and transportation industry after completing his military service. He worked as a taxi driver for Jacks Cab, Sky Jack, and Square Deal, as well as owning his own car. He genuinely cared about people, and they reciprocated his feelings. He chauffeured celebrities as well as regulars with standing pickups. On numerous occasions, he drove BeyoncĂ© and Shelia Jackson Lee’s children to and from school. He chauffeured a large number of people, including Jackie Wilson.

James was a domino fan who was known to competently play the game whenever and wherever he could. He was always aware of what you were holding, and if he wasn’t, he pretended to be by acting as if he was. For many years, he played dominoes with his friends on a weekly basis and hosted the games. He was also an avid reader and music fan of all genres. He knew everything and everyone, including “Megan the Stallion,” and he always had the most up-to-date information.

James was predeceased by his son Tony, his father Alex, his mother Lottie, and his siblings Climmie and Lizzie. His wife, Gloria Jean, and their three children, Tonia Williams, Timothy Morgan (Rachel), and Tinagene Terrell, survive him. These people will always hold a special place in his heart. Chaddrick Williams, Jhavana Garcia (Felix), Christopher Morgan, Marquis McBride, Bianca Hayes, Tiana Jones (Anthony), and Clarence Provost are the grandchildren. Jordan Morgan is also a member of the family. He has fourteen great grandchildren in addition to a nephew named Larry Johnson and a godson named Edward Mathews, as well as other relatives and friends.
