To whoever has taken the time to read this, my name is Brady Akins. A few days ago my brother-in-arms, a United States Marine Corps Veteran named Hunter Whitley, lost a battle to his demons. For those of you that knew Hunter, knew he was beloved. He lit up every room he entered. There are few people in the world who could make you smile and laugh like he could. He was a Treasure of a human being and one of the best men I have come to know. Unfortunately, we never know the struggles some are going through until it’s too late. He will be missed by all who call him a friend, a brother, and a son. In the upcoming days, his family will be arranging his services. With the knowledge of how difficult it can be to go through these tragic times, myself and a few others who have had the pleasure of serving with Hunter have taken it upon ourselves to raise money in support of his family in their process of grieving and give recognition to veterans suicide awareness. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and Semper Fidelis from the boys of Charlie Co 1st Plt. GoFundMe
