Grace Rush Obituary, Death -Everyone at Greystones RFC is in a state of shock and mourning following the unanticipated and untimely passing of a young player by the name of Grace Rush. Not just at Eire Og, where she was a shining light for the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), but also at Bray Hockey Club and Greystones Golf Club, Grace’s departure will be deeply felt because she was such a good athlete. Her heartbroken team members on our Girls U14 and U16 squads, as well as her coaches and mentors, as well as the entire Greystones RFC Community, will miss her tremendously.
She was very well liked by everyone in our club. During this trying time, the members of Grace’s family—her parents, Stephen and Orla, her brothers, Joshua and Darragh, and her grandparents, Eddie Doyle and Bob and Angela Rush—are in our thoughts and prayers. Also included in this group are Grace’s extended family members. They have our sincerest condolences during this difficult time. All of us are going to miss Grace very, very much. These condolences come not only from the organization’s President and Captains, but also from the organization’s Executive Committee and each and every member of the organization. They can now be obtained by each and every member of the family.
On Saturday morning at 10:20 am, the funeral cortège for Grace will depart the family home and go to the Holy Rosary Church in Greystones. They will be there in plenty of time to participate in the Funeral Mass that will be held to commemorate Grace’s life at 11 in the morning. Grace will be laid to rest in the Redford Cemetery in Greystones, which is also regarded to be a part of Greystones, after the end of the Funeral Mass in Greystones.
