It is true, we lost my uncle Gerry yesterday. Thank you to those who gave us time to tell family before posting to to social media. There are still 3 littles who do not know as we are trying not to ruin a birthday. Be gentle with my family during this time as we are all in shock and trying to navigate life. Crystal could use all the extra love you can spare and Christian flew home.
I think I’m still in shock. How do you loose someone like Gerry and not feel the impact immediately? He just text me opening day he shot a buck on my property. He always had a thirst for fun. He was always the fun guy and uncle. But he was more in our family. He showed up to every birthday for the great nieces and nephews, he showed up to every cookie decorating every holiday season, he came out every Halloween every year of my life I can remember, including this year. He loved making life fun for us as kids and now my kids.
I will miss his infectious love of life and everything it had to offer. There will be a funeral visitation for Gerry Bandelow on Sunday November 27th from 2-4 at Burkholder Funeral Home in McBain. No flowers please, any donations can be made to the family. Christian Bandelow Crystal Bandelow. ~ Maggie Keller
