George Sipos Obituary, Death – On November 7, 2022, George Eugene Sipos, who was 64 years old at the time of his passing, was unexpectedly removed from this world. Although he had most recently called Fort Myers, Florida home, he was originally from the town of Avon in Indiana. George has two surviving kids, Nicholas, who lives in Reno, Nevada, and Brody, who lives “anywhere,” and the two of them are the best of friends.
In addition, he is survived by his sisters Vicki (Michael) Owens and Lori Sipos, both of whom reside in Mooresville, Indiana; seven nieces and nephews; twelve great nieces and nephews; countless cousins; and a large number of friends. He also leaves behind a large number of acquaintances. Everyone who knew George and loved him will experience a great level of loss at the news of his passing. Belinda Schneider Sipos was his wife for the previous 19 years of his life up until that point in his life. He had been married to her up until that point.
After 29 years of service with Indianapolis Power & Light, during which time he reached the position of crew supervisor, George made the decision to retire earlier than was originally anticipated. On September 24, 1958, in the city of Indianapolis, George Sipos was born to his parents, George and Grace (Frost) Sipos. George’s grandfather was also named George Sipos. Unfortunately, neither of George’s parents survived long enough to see him enter the world.
A memorial service honoring his life will be conducted on November 19 in Brownsburg, Indiana, at the American Legion Brownsburg post #331. This location can be found at 636 E Main St. in Brownsburg, Indiana. His family will host the memorial service. The event will go on from two in the afternoon until six in the evening, local time. The memorial service is scheduled to begin at three o’clock in the afternoon.
