Fred Hickman Obituary, Death – On Thursday, Fred Hickman, a pioneering sports news presenter who was 66 years old, passed away, leading the world of sports to be in a state of melancholy following the news of his passing. Hickman’s passing caused the world of sports to be in a state of mourning. During the 1980s and 1990s, Hickman served as a co-anchor for the legendary sports news program “Sports Tonight,” which was broadcast on CNN. Hickman was employed with CNN for the entirety of those twenty years. Hickman became well-known all over the world as a result of the work that he did on the program, and Nick Charles was an integral part of this success.
Hickman was the desk anchor for the debut of the YES Network in 2002. He has worked for ESPN and a number of regional networks over his career. Hickman was hailed as a pioneer in the field of sports television by a significant number of black journalists due to his many accomplishments in the field of sports television.
