Emeritus Raines Obituary, Death – Writing this post, which we are addressing to all of our loved ones, including our friends and family, is proving to be a very challenging endeavor for us. It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our mother, Barbara Raines, First Lady Emeritus of New Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church. On behalf of the entire Raines family, we want to offer our most sincere condolences to you at this time. Our mother passed away peacefully yesterday afternoon in the comfort of her own home.
On behalf of the entire Raines family, we would like to offer our condolences to the family and friends of our mother. We have lived a long life, but in all that time, we have never met anyone whose extraordinary qualities even come close to matching those of our mother. We have never come across a woman who is everything to such a diverse group of people as this one does, and we don’t think we ever will.
She is truly incredible in every way. We have never known a woman who has been able to persevere despite facing such a great deal of adversity while still maintaining a smile on her face. This woman is an exception to this rule. She serves as an example for each of us to follow. Because our mother would want us to succeed and because it is what she would have wanted for us, we will achieve our goals in the end.
We each have a piece of our mother’s unflinching determination, and if we combine that with our unwavering faith in God, we will be able to accomplish what she would have wanted for us to do with our lives. During this trying time, our family asks for privacy; however, we do want everyone to know that we are in the process of making preparations for a memorial service to celebrate the life of a loved one who has passed away. The service will be held to commemorate the loved one’s life after they have passed away. We will make it a top priority to inform you of any new information as soon as it comes to our attention and we will do so whenever possible.
