Ed Heffernan Obituary, Death – After hearing that Ed Heffernan had passed away, each and every one of us has been left in a state of melancholy that cannot be adequately conveyed by words alone. We are unable to adequately express our sorrow. We are at a loss for words because they do not do justice to the intensity of feeling that we have regarding this matter. There is not a single thought that occurs to either of us regarding what we should say next. At this very second, each and every one of us is going through something that, for lack of a more appropriate expression, merely cannot be described in words.
Ed comes from a coaching background and made it a point to watch every single game that he participated in while he was still actively playing the sport as a player while he was still coaching. On the bench, where he remained in a standing position throughout the game, was the only place you could dependably find him. In addition to this, he exemplified the very definition of the word “gentleman,” which, when applied to him as an individual, provides an accurate depiction of who he was. During this difficult time, we want Ed’s wife Marieine and their three children James, Lucy, and Kiera to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers.
We ask that you join us in remembering them in your thoughts and prayers, and that you do so in conjunction with us. Please keep in mind that you are doing this in conjunction with us. We want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and that you are on our minds as you go through this difficult time. Please know that we are thinking about you. Please be assured that we will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Please accept our condolences. They are to blame for the anarchy that can be found deep within the hearts of each and every one of us. During this difficult time, we want to offer our deepest condolences to you and ask that you please accept them. We know that this is a difficult situation for you. Ar dheis Dé go raibh an anam dílis.
