Donny Tillery Obituary, Death – Donald G. Tillery passed away and went to be with the Lord shortly after his passing. On August 28, 1936, Pearl and Luther Tillery became the proud parents of their first child, who was born at home.
After graduating from Fountain Lake High School and serving in the military during the draft, Donald moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas, where he first worked for Auto Part Stores and then Union Carbide before retiring from the Corps of Engineers. During his time in the military, Donald was assigned to the Corps of Engineers.

His wife Mary Jo, daughter Kim Serrano, brothers Ray and Jack, and sister Marion all passed away before he did. He was preceded in death by them all. Both of his parents, Luther and Pearl, had already passed away prior to his passing. Among his surviving loved ones are his son Gordon and his wife Tracie Tillery, his son Chris and his wife Nita “Tina” Tillery, his daughter Melody and her husband Paul Tillery, and his companion of 16 years, Mable Freeman. He was also survived by his grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by grandchildren who have the following names: Rita Payne of Baltimore, Maryland, Joshua Tillery of Lonsdale, Arkansas, Chris Tillery, Johnny Tillery, Paul Tillery, Heather Woodson, Sarah, Wyatt, and Ersella Hughes, all of whom live in Arkansas;

The coffin will be carried by Wayne Neighbors, Phillip Taylor, Joshua Tillery, Chris Tillery, Paul Tillery, and Nick Tillery, who have all volunteered their services. At two o’clock in the afternoon, there will be a memorial service held in Donald’s honor. Visitation will begin at one o’clock in the afternoon on the day of the funeral, which will be held on Sunday at the Antioch Church in Lonsdale, Arkansas. The Reverend Paul Tillery will serve as the event’s master of ceremonies and preside over the proceedings.

There will be a reception following the interment, which will take place at Antioch Cemetery after the service.
