David Tabor Obituary, Death – David Tabor of Auburn has unexpectedly passed away. On the 11th of July, in the small hours of the morning, he made his triumphant debut into the world as the firstborn child of Walter Tabor and Harriette “Betty” Carpenter in the community of Gloversville. Following his graduation from Mayfield Central School in 1974, he joined the Navy and served in active service there from 1974 until 1977. He was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1977.

In 1977, he was given a release from the Navy that was honorable. Between the years 1977 and 1980, he was a member of the Navy Reserve; nevertheless, he was never given any form of combat duty during that period. He served in the Navy Reserve. Between the years 1986 and 1987, he worked in Scotia as a Master at Arms and Ship Serviceman for the Air National Guard 109th Security Police. His employment there lasted for two years. This particular post was located in Scotia. He did not take any vacation time between 1986 and 1987 while he was employed there. He spent a combined total of 34 years serving his community in a variety of departments, some of which include the Northville Volunteer Fire Department, the Mayfield Volunteer Fire Department, and the Northampton Ambulance Service.

In addition, he was a member of the Northampton Ambulance Service. The Mayfield Volunteer Fire Department was one of the numerous agencies that he served with during his career. He devoted his time with the Mayfield Fire Department for the many years that he had been serving the community. In addition to the role of Park Ranger that he had with ENCON, he was employed in a variety of other security-related roles throughout the community. These jobs included things like walking around the neighborhood and watching over businesses. After that, he started seeking for jobs and ultimately made the decision to get a job with the Northville Central School District (NCSD). After David’s departure, the legacy of the Tabor family will be carried on by five young men: Zachary Tabor, Timothy Tabor, Ryan Tabor, Adam Tabor, and Dylan Whitman. Zachary, Timothy, Ryan, and Adam Tabor will be joined by Dylan Whitman.
