This is my 1st cousin David Campbell, a brother to me growing up in the Lowcountry and a great friend to this day. My cousin passed away yesterday as depressions grip was too tight to break away from. No one had a clue, see this face, the smile…
I introduced him to Ocean lifeguarding in the 90’s and he loved it and a Brotherhood Loved him back! This man was loved, respected as a top notch realtor and restaurant Mgr but something was missing and it pains me as I have no clue what it was! Little David, as I called him, had an incredible daughter, career, family, friends, and looked like he was loving and living life.
Depression, Addiction or whatever it may be, please don’t lose Hope. Hope is what keeps us moving forward, Hope is what pulled me out of the dark hell I sank into, Hope is a powerful thing so never lose it.
I’m here if anyone needs to talk, if you need to vent and want to go a few rounds, we can. I’ve got plenty of endurance to help clear your mind. Life is So Precious so please live it, let God call you home, don’t do it for Him.
I love this Man, regardless, and my Love and prayers are with his D and his family, My Family.
