Daniel Miles Obituary, Death – Daniel Miles of Albany Oregon has died. On November 14th, Daniel was born. Alice Miles’ third child was Daniel. Alfred, his eldest brother, vividly recalls his birth. Daniel was raised in a loving home by his mother, stepfather Herman Wells, and seven siblings. He was a popular child who was constantly watched over by his mother and grandmother. Daniel was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but his family relocated to Williamstown, New Jersey, when he was a child. He spent the majority of his adult life in Sicklerville, New Jersey. During his retirement, Daniel lived in Atlanta, Georgia, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Casselberry, Florida.

Daniel attended Monroe Township public schools. He was a Williamstown High School graduate. After graduation, he went to work for America Minerals, where he stayed for the next 26 years. At the plant, he made many lifelong friends.On August 28, 1978, Daniel married Ida Martin, and the couple has been married for nearly thirty years. They were friends before they fell in love. “I love my wife,” Daniel would tell anyone who would listen. Daniel’s sisters claimed that every time they spoke with him, he expressed his love for Cookie. Daniel lived his life to the fullest, savoring each and every moment. He was a die-hard Eagles fan, frequently attending games with his buddies Greg, Shep, and, more recently, his nephew Anthony.

Daniel was well-known for his generous spirit and kind heart. Daniel adored his nieces and nephews despite the fact that he had no children of his own. He was especially close to his niece Tamiya, whom he called “little Mama.” Daniel was proud of all of their accomplishments and celebrated them all.Daniel was predeceased by his mother, Alice Miles, his stepfather, Herman Wells, and his sister, Gail Miles. His wife, Ida, and siblings Alfred Miles (Felicia), Duane Miles, Cheryl Miles, Gary Miles (Anna), Christina Miles, and Tyrone Miles, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, survive him.
