Cypriot Stylianou Obituary, Death – At the age of 81, Soteris Stylianou, who had been a resident of Chatham all her life, passed away on June 20, 2022 at the Chatham-Kent Hospice. Sam Stylianou was the son of Michael and Kuriakou (Georgeou) Stylianou, both of whom passed away before their son was born. Pentayia, which is situated on the island of Cyprus, is the place of his birth. Stella Sofroniou and Koullies Stylianou count themselves fortunate to be able to call their devoted father their doting mother’s devoted and loving husband of 59 years.

Sam, who had previously served in the Cypriot army, packed up his family of eleven siblings and moved to Chatham, Cyprus, in 1967 after learning that there was work to be had there. After arriving in Canada on the Queen Mary, he took a train from the East Coast to Toronto and found work as a tailor there for a period of six months. He stayed in Toronto for the duration of his journey. Following an additional six months of separation, his wife and two children eventually relocated to Chatham in order to be with him.

Christos Stylianou, Mario Sofroniou, and Soteris Stylianou are my three wonderful sons, and I am a proud Papou to all of them. You all have a Great-Papou named Papau, Brooklyn, Samuel, and Nikos. His sister and brother-in-law, respectively, are Andrea Evangelou (Maroulla) and the late Peter Evangelou (Feetou), Sullis Antoniou (Koulla), Tony Antoniou, and Irene Yiannaras. His sister-in-law Sullis Antoniou is married to Tony Antoniou.

Both Andrea and Helen have a godfather in their lives. Toula is considered to be one of the most important people in the lives of Niko and Anna Michael, as well as Angelo and Toula Delegrammatikas. In addition, they have a large number of nieces, nephews, friends, and members of their extended family who are absent from their lives.
