Clyde Chitty Obituary, Death – According to a post on social media, Professor Clyde Chitty, a thorough educationist who departed away prematurely and suddenly, has left friends, loved ones, family, and the entire community in mourning and heartbreak. He and his family moved to the west coast and established their home in Farnam, where they have remained for the past twenty-five years; he has frequently remarked how satisfied they have been with their decision to make this their permanent residence. It was well known that Mr. Chitty always had a cheery and positive attitude. Because of his enormous determination, he was able to keep going right up until a few weeks ago, when he was struck down with pneumonia from which he was unable to recover.

Although he had not been in excellent condition for a number of years, he was able to keep going up to that point. Since that time, he has left us forever. Because he was a man who dedicated his life to doing good for others and was always willing to lend a hand wherever it was needed, he will be sorely missed by his friends and neighbors in the neighborhood. Mr. Chitty has been a dependable worker at the Farnam Co-operative association throughout the years, rising through the ranks to become the manager of the organization. Those he leaves behind include his son, his wife, a number of nieces and nephews, and a large group of friends, all of whom will be saddened by his passing.

His wife was a faithful, loving, and devoted partner to him throughout his entire life. Others who will mourn his passing include a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Monday at two o’clock in the afternoon in the Methodist church located in the community of Farnam. The Reverend M.S. Satchell of Culbertson was the one in charge of officiating the wedding. In the beginning of my involvement with this congregation, Reverend Satchell served as the church’s pastor. At the Farnam cemetery, both the funeral and the interment took place.
