Clayton Aguillard Obituary, Death – Clayton James Aguillard, an RN, BSN, and BA was recently appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer at Seaside Health System, a behavioral health hospital located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in the state of Louisiana. The appointment of Aguillard to this role was made public by Franklin Roemer, the Chief Executive Officer of Seaside Healthcare. Clay’s extensive managerial background, coupled with nearly two decades of service in the field of behavioral healthcare administration, made him a strong candidate for this key leadership position in our company, as Roemer commented, “Our company is very fortunate to have Clay as a candidate because he will bring a lot to the table.” We are thrilled to have him as a member of the Seaside Healthcare family as he steers the ship toward a brighter future for our Baton Rouge location.
In the course of his career, Aguillard, who currently resides in Baton Rouge but was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, has held the positions of administrator for multiple regional behavioral health hospitals as well as president and chief executive officer of a psychiatric consulting firm. His experience includes working on the preparation for over 20 Joint Commission surveys, including the holding of preparatory mock surveys and the implementation of compliance measures after the surveys. Earlier in his career, Clay worked for Seaside Healthcare in a variety of roles, including that of vice president of managed contracts and business development.
In addition to having excellent team building skills and being skilled in program planning and development, his professional background also includes expertise in the field of regulatory compliance and setting financial goals. William Carey College awarded him a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing; Loyola University awarded him a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy; and he completed additional coursework at Loyola University to earn a minor in Business Administration.
