Claudia Long Obituary, Death -Claudia R. Long, who was 78 years old and originally from Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away and went to be with the Lord at Adena Regional Medical Center. Since earlier this morning, she had been a patient at that facility. She had fought the disease, which is also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, for a very long time and with a lot of bravery, which is another name for the condition. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is what’s meant to be represented by the abbreviation ALS.

Funeral services in memory of the deceased will be held at the Glorious Church of God on Friday, April 27, at 2:00 p.m., the day after the person passed away. She was born on April 27, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio, to her late parents, the Reverend William Cotton and Mary (Luckadoo) Cotton. Her father passed away before she was born. Since then, neither of her parents has survived to this day. When she was born, her father had already passed away from a previous illness. Since that time, she has been deprived of the opportunity to say goodbye to both of her parents: her mother and her father.

Her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce E. (Lanita) Bunch, of Columbus; her daughter, Mary F. Hill, of Conyers, Georgia; her grandchildren Abdu Bunch, Jehan Bunch, Jamila Bunch, Maren (Anthony) Pope, and Matthew Hill; and a great-grandchild who goes by the name Israel Pope are among those who are still with her today.
