Cheryl Scott Obituary, Death – On Sunday, November 13, 2022, Cheryl C. Scott, a resident of Piscataway, New Jersey, passed away while surrounded by her loving and committed family members who truly cared for her. She was 53 years old. Although she was born in Perth Amboy, she spent the rest of her life in Piscataway, where she was raised by her parents, Richard and Mildred Scott Jr. Despite the fact that she was born in Perth Amboy, she spent the majority of her life there. She held the position of Senior Conference Business Administrator for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) over the course of the preceding two decades of her professional life.

Before Cheryl earned her diploma, she attended both St. Frances Cabrini School and Piscataway High School. During her time there, she was a student in the art department. She was pretty sporty and in her leisure time she enjoyed doing activities such as Zumba, working out, and kickboxing. She considered herself a personal shopper and spent much of her free time traveling and shopping. In addition to being brave, compassionate, and generous, Cheryl was a steadfast friend to everyone who knew her. She cherished the time she could spend with those she cared about, especially her family and the people she was closest to.

Before she was born, both of her sets of grandparents—her maternal grandparents, Richard and Barbara Scott, and her paternal grandparents, Harold and Gertrude Lincoln—had passed away. Her great-grandfather Poppa Lincoln, her uncles Harold Lincoln Jr. (Jean) and Lawrence Lincoln (Diane), her aunt Jean Scott, and her uncle James Scott are all members of the Scott family (Linda). Her loving children, Aleysse (Marcus), and Richard Wright of Piscataway, her loving sister Chanelle C. McCullum (Larry) of Piscataway, her loving brother Ivan Scott (Pamela) of Piscataway, her granddaughter Solay, and her loving nieces and nephews Alexis McCullum-Crozier (Louis), Larry McCullum, and Solay Scott. On Saturday, November 19, at 1:30 pm, a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Frances Cabrini RC Church, which can be found in Piscataway at 208 Bound Brook Avenue, on Netherwood Avenue. A visitation will take held in the church beginning at noon and continuing until 1:30 in the afternoon, before the Mass is actually celebrated there. Traditional demonstrations of sympathy in the form of flowers might be replaced with financial contributions to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program of the American Cancer Society.
