Charlie Turner Obituary, Death – Charlie Turner, who was serving as a member of the City Council for the city of Hewitt at the time of his sudden death, suffered a massive heart attack. His untimely death came as a shock to everyone, including himself. As the family continues to deal with the fallout of this heartbreaking loss, we ask that you continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they do so. I would like to express my gratitude in advance for remembering them in this manner. I would want to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for giving the aforementioned request some thought.
It was remarked that he was an excellent example of the human race. A celebration of Charlie Turner’s life as well as a memorial service paying respect to his memory will take place at the First Baptist Church in Hewitt on the afternoon of Sunday, November 20 at 2:00 p.m. in order to commemorate his memory and pay tribute to his life. At addition, there will be a reception that will take place immediately after the program in the Friendship Hall that is housed within this church. This will take place immediately after the performance. Immediately following the performance will be when the reception will be held.
In lieu of sending flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to either the Turner Family Scholarship at the MCC Highlander Foundation or to Friends For Life, who are the sponsors of the Tool Shed. Both organizations will benefit from the contributions. Because of the contributions, both groups will reap the benefits. The donations will result in benefits for both parties, and they will share in those benefits. The church, which can be found at 301 South First Street, Hewitt, Texas 76643, is the location of the event (or activities) that are now being place there.
