Chad Bradley Obituary, Death – This past Friday, Chad Bradley, a resident of Shelby who had been living there for the past 39 years, passed suddenly. Chad was born in Cleveland County on March 8th, 1982, and he has resided in that county his entire life, both his youth and his adult life. He had three different sets of biological parents: Marie Green, Maynard Bradley, and Debbie Bradley. Each of these people became his parent under their own unique set of circumstances. Chad eagerly anticipated the arrival of spring every year so that he could plant a garden, play golf and pool, go fishing and hunting, and participate in other activities that took place outside.

Before Chad was born, all of his ancestors had already passed away. This included his maternal grandparents Pauline and Van Green and his paternal grandparents Martin and Ellen Bradley, as well as his maternal aunt and uncle Johnny and Jewell Brittain Green, his paternal uncle Glenn Williams, and his paternal uncle Roger Bradley. Chad’s maternal aunt and uncle Johnny and Jewell Brittain Green also passed away before Chad was born.

He is survived by his daughters, Shyanne and Leanne Bradley of Kings Mountain; his brother and sister-in-law, Seth and Jessica Bradley of Gastonia; and a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will remember him with love and affection in the years to come. He passed away on April 15, 2019. His daughters will carry on his legacy after he is gone, in addition to his parents. The Bradley sisters, Shyanne and Leanne, are from Kings Mountain. Seth Bradley, his brother, and Jessica Bradley, his sister-in-law, both live in Gastonia.

At the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 PM, members of the family will be present in order to meet and greet people who have come to pay their respects.

On the day of the dead person’s passing, Wednesday, at 2:00 p.m., Funeral Services will be performed in the Chapel of the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home. The Reverends Paul Scott and Jim Richardson will take turns serving as the presiding clergy during the event. The burial will take place at Rose Hill Memorial Park as soon as the funeral comes to a close, immediately after the conclusion of the service.
