Carolyn Sodergren Obituary, Death – I tried to write this post multiple times today, but it seems that we just aren’t quite ready for it yet. Perhaps tomorrow will be the day. Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience. At 7:40 this morning, my mother passed away peacefully, having endured no discomfort or agony in her final moments.
Over the course of the past two decades, my sisters and I have referred to her on multiple occasions as “Tough as Nails,” which is an expression that means “as strong as nails.” Despite the many challenges she faced in both of these areas, she never once complained about her deteriorating health or the increasing demands placed on her body. She also never complained about the fact that she had to put more and more pressure on her body.
Since the passing of my grandfather, who was also her spouse of 56 years and passed away more than 5 years ago, she has not made any comments about how much she misses him. My grandfather was also the person she spent the majority of her life with. In point of fact, she has not lodged a single complaint about any other individual either. The members of her family who were closest to her heart were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in that order. In memory of Carolyn Sodergren, who made friends wherever she went and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those who were in need, I would be grateful if you could do the following favor for me:
