Callie Crowell Obituary, Death – She is now a Green Angel after having achieved the highest level possible in the Girl Scouts organization and working her way up through the ranks. This past week, Callie Crowell passed away in a way that was completely out of the blue and took place all of a sudden. When the incident took place, she was in her first year of undergraduate study at the University of Virginia, where she was a student at the time. Callie was an active participant in the Girl Scouts throughout her time as a member of Patrick County Troop 1302 for the better part of a decade. During that time, she was a member of the organization.
As a result of her efforts in Girl Scouting this year, she was honored with the Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards, which are the three highest levels of achievement that can be attained within the organization. She was presented with the Triumph Award in recognition of her accomplishments throughout the year. Back in June, she informed us about this in her capacity as a senior who is about to complete her education: “My participation in Girl Scouting over the years has afforded me a wide range of opportunities that have not only helped me improve a great number of my own skills but also given me the chance to lend a hand to others in my community.
I am extremely grateful for all of these experiences. My sister-in-law is an outstanding troop leader, and I couldn’t have asked for a better role model for
During this difficult time, we want Callie’s family and all of her fellow Girl Scouts to know that our thoughts and prayers are with them. We ask that you acknowledge our deepest condolences. Your expressions of sympathy can be sent to the following individuals.
