Caelan Schreiber Obituary, Death – Caelan Schreiber died quietly at home on Wednesday, surrounded by his loved ones, after a courageous battle with bone cancer. Caelan, the son of Melissa (Terho) and Christian Schreiber, was born on February 26 in Leominster, Massachusetts. Before completing his studies at Sizer School in 2019, he attended St. Anthony Elementary School. He enrolled in Mount Wachusett Community College after graduating from high school. Caelan most recently worked for Snyder Pools in Westminster, Massachusetts.

Caelan enjoyed going to Camp Hawkeye throughout his youth, first as a camper and later as a camp counselor. Ten summers at Camp Hawkeye were spent hiking in the highlands of New Hampshire. Caelan engaged in a variety of other activities while he was there, such as fishing and archery. Caelan enjoyed being outside and spending time with his loved ones. In his spare time, he enjoyed kayaking, fishing, hiking, and target shooting.

Caelan spent the last year of his life doing as many of these things as he could with his devoted lover, Lauren Hatch. Caelan was a young man, calm, kind, and sweet, with huge blue eyes and butterfly eyelashes. Any room he entered became more cheerful. His family will never forget the happiness, fun, and excitement he offered them during his far too brief time on earth.

Caelan is also survived by his mother Melissa (Terho) Schreiber, sister Allison, grandparents Otto Terho and Paula-Fleming Boule, aunt Sarah Terho, godparents uncle Michael Terho and aunt Bethany Terho, uncle Christopher Terho, aunt Victoria Terho, uncle Jeffrey Terho, uncle Geoffrey Terho, and cousins Nicholas, Cody, Brandon, Benjamin, Cameron, and Emma. Caelan leaves behind his love and dedicated girlfriend Lauren Hatch and her parents Alan and Maria Hatch. After his therapy was over, Caelan and Lauren intended to wed. Grandmother Denise Terho passed away in March 2022.
