Brenda Colunga Obituary, Death – On November 5, 2022, at 1:56 in the morning, Brenda Colunga, who was 47 years old and originally from Hoopeston, Illinois, passed away at the Carle Hoopeston Regional Health Center. She was born on July 2, 1975 in Hoopeston, Illinois, and her parents were Jose Colunga and Nora (Rangel) Colunga. She was their daughter. Her mother had the surname Rangel as her maiden name. At Hoopeston, they have been successful in preserving their lives.

She is also survived by her two daughters Kiara Colunga and Makhia Colunga, both of Hoopeston, Illinois; her four sons Robert Colunga, Andre Colunga (Paige Jones), Davion Colunga (Alyssa Dowers), and Marcus Colunga, all of Hoopeston, Illinois; her two sisters Oralia Garcia and Irene Colunga, both of Mission, Texas; and her two brothers Jose Colunga Jr. and Daniel Col Her maternal grandparents, Amedeo and Oralia Colunga, and her paternal grandparents, Alfredo and Jovita Rangel, as well as a particular cousin named Juan Colunga Jr., all passed away before she was born. Her maternal grandfather was named Amedeo, and her maternal grandmother was named Oralia. Her paternal grandfather was named Alfredo.

Brenda was a stay-at-home mother to her two children. It was quite enjoyable for her to engage in activities such as dancing, driving, and listening to music. It was one of her favorite things to do in her leisure time to get up with her friends and family. She also enjoyed keeping an eye on her son’s dogs, Nala, Tank, and Taiya. Brenda took great pleasure in tormenting other people with jokes and making them laugh.

At the Anderson Funeral Home in Hoopeston, Illinois, which is located at 427 E. Main Street, on Monday, November 14, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, friends and family are cordially invited to pay their condolences in honor of the deceased. A recitation of the rosary is scheduled to take place at the funeral home at the hour of five o’clock in the evening. St. Anthony Catholic Church, which can be found in Hoopeston, Illinois at 423 S. 3rd Street, will be the location of the funeral liturgy that will take place on the morning of Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM. During the event, Father Ignatius Mulenda will serve as the presider. The burial will take place at Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston after the funeral services have concluded.
