Blake Boyette Obituary, Death – Blake Smith Boyette, 22, passed away unexpectedly on November 17, 2022. Though he left us far too soon, we can take solace in knowing he is in Jesus’ arms. Blake was a senior at East Carolina University, nearing the end of his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Blake adored his family and friends and was never shy about expressing his love for them. He always wore a smile on his face, carried a hug in his arms, and had the ability to make others laugh. He filled the universe with unrivaled energy and light. Blake lived his life to the fullest and completed all of his goals. He was an exceptional athlete and a fierce competitor who enjoyed sports and video games. He recently participated in ECU intramural sports, as well as softball and golf with his father and brothers.

He was the ECU football tailgate king, and he liked to cook and entertain his friends. Blake was relieved to be outside. He enjoyed beach skimboarding, hunting, fishing, and riding his four wheeler to music. Blake accomplished more in 22 years than most people do in a lifetime. Royce and Eunice Boyette, Blake’s paternal grandparents, died before he was born. Blake’s parents, Robert Allen and Wanda Creech Boyette, his brothers Austin Boyette (Kayley), Kyle Boyette, his maternal grandparents, Grady and Linda Creech, his nephew Grady Boyette, numerous special aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his beloved dogs, Scout and Nash, survive him.
