It is with great sadness that we have lost a true brother in the fire service and a long time friend. Today Capt Billy Jackson passed from this earth. I had the privilege to be his chief and serve on the dept beside him. He was a friend to all who knew him. He served his country, his church, and his fire District. He was currently serving as Capt on the Oak Grove Heights Fire Dept. He had previously held various positions on Northeast Greene Co Fire dist including Chief. Billy was a great friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, co-workers, Oak Grove Heights Fre Dept, and all his brothers in the fire service. Rest in peace my friend!~ Evans J
