On Friday, November 11, 2022, Jackson, who had lived his entire life in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and had reached the age of 83, passed away without any discomfort. It was not possible to determine what exactly caused the death.
On June 13, 1939, Betty Spalding was brought into the world by her parents, Carl and Gladys Spalding. She was born in Richmond, Indiana. After living in Richmond for a significant portion of her life, she later relocated to Muncie, Indiana, and ultimately made her home in Fort Wayne, also located in the state of Indiana.
A select few people were able to outlive her, and these people included her daughter Jana (Ray) Melendez as well as her grandsons. Benjamin and Zachary Melendez, sisters Charlotte Grable and Joan Bailey, brothers Jim (Linda) Spalding and Jerry (Jeanne) Spalding, sisters-in-law Shirley Martin Spalding and Ellamarie Spalding, as well as a large number of nieces and nephews, are among those who are able to carry on his legacy after his passing.
Her children Benjamin and Zachary Melendez; her sisters Charlotte Grable and Joan Bailey; her brothers Jim (Linda) Spalding and Jerry (Jeanne) Spalding; her siblings Pat Spalding and Gladys Todd; and her brothers Carl, Albert, George, Dick, and Eddie Spalding all passed away before she did. Her husband Gerald Jackson, son Aaron Timothy Goins, and all of her siblings all passed away before she did.
Her parents also passed away before she did. Her husband, Gerald Jackson, also passed away before she did, a few years before she did. There are currently no firm plans in place to hold a funeral or memorial service in memory of Betty June Spalding Jackson. This may or may not change in the future.
In the future, whenever there is going to be a Celebration of Life held, the family will inform those loved ones in order to keep those loved ones informed about the event. The Doan & Mills Funeral Home, which can be found in Richmond at 790 National Road West, is the organization that will be in charge of making all of the necessary arrangements for the funeral service.
