According to Dallas County sheriff’s Investigator William Fritz, law enforcement personnel responded to a report of shots fired and a possible active shooter at the Dallas County medical examiner’s office on Tuesday just before 5 p.m. and discovered the bodies of a man and a woman who had been shot dead. After the building was evacuated, detectives established that the man had walked into the complex and shot his wife, who was employed there, Fritz said.
