Beth Branson Obituary, Death – We are in disbelief and profound mourning after learning of Beth Branson’s passing, which came as a complete surprise to us. Beth is a contributing part of the Women’s team that we have. Beth has been a part of our Women’s squad for a significant amount of time now, having previously competed for our Girls and Youth sections. She was stolen from us much too soon at the age of 19, and the situation taught us how unfair some situations can be. She was a beautiful young woman. This is such extremely terrible news, Geoff Sluman, Director of Rugby at Albion, said. I would routinely see Beth at the Women’s games, at Women’s training, and generally in and around the club house.

She was always a kind and kind person, making her a terrific addition to both the squad and the club. Even when she was active on the rugby pitch with her team mates, she never failed to stroll about with a smile on her face. Perhaps I should rephrase that to say “particularly when she was active on the rugby pitch.” My deepest condolences go out to Beth’s family and friends on their recent loss. Beth was a wonderful player and a great friend to everyone at the club, according to Sophie Phillips, who was the player coach for the women’s team. Sophie stated that Beth’s bright nature rubbed off on everyone and would light up any room. I would want to take this opportunity to offer my sympathies to Beth’s family and friends on behalf of our entire organization.

Geoff continued by saying, “I know that a lot of the Women’s team and leadership group want to pay respect to Beth, but they are just unable to do so at the moment because the shock is so profound and the loss is so raw, but they will when the time is right.” For the time being, on behalf of myself, on behalf of Bridgwater & Albion RFC, and especially on behalf of the Women’s section and all of Beth’s many friends at the club, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to Beth’s father, Ben, mother, Amy, and brother, Joe, as well as the rest of Beth’s family.
