Ben Fike Obituary, Death – The news of your passing has left me with an overwhelming sense of loss and a weighty burden in my heart. I am overcome with a sense of enormous anguish. When Ben was just a little boy of 12 years old, Scott Fike, Ben’s father, was the one who initially introduced us to one another. Ben’s name at the time was Scott Fike. During that time, I worked for HPHD in Buffalo, where I was employed by the organization in the capacity of both a coach and a trainer for the team. I got to know his father pretty quickly and have stayed in touch with Ben throughout the course of a number of years at this point. I built a friendship with his father quite quickly.

He inspired me to seek a career as a coach, which was always a great ambition of mine, and I am very grateful for his support in this endeavor. It has been a pleasure for me to get to know you, Ben, and I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for the part you’ve played in serving as a source of motivation for me. It has been an honor for me to get to know you. As a result of your development into the kind of person that you are now, both on and off the ice, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of satisfaction in your successes. This is because of your growth into the kind of person that you are now.

You were taken from this world much too soon, yet a large number of people will continue to remember you for a very long time to come. This is because your passing came about much too quickly. Your name will be remembered throughout the ages in this globe. During this difficult time, we want Scott and all of his family to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers, and we want them to know that we are thinking about them. It is a dreadful tragedy that no parent should ever have to go through, especially if it involves the passing of a child and the following necessity to bury them. Ben, I will never be able to forget that charming grin of yours. It’s just one of those things.
