Alan Nestor Obituary , Death – It is with the utmost regret that we have to share with you the tragic news that follows regarding the passing of a gentle and sympathetic spirit who was cherished by a great number of people in Longford and other locations.
Mary McWeeney (née McConville), who formerly inhabited Cloontaghmore, Killashee, Longford, has been identified as having passed away. This information has been brought to our attention.

The mourners at The Longford Eye, including its employees and management, would like to extend their most sincere condolences to the departed person’s loved ones and friends.

Mary McWeeney, also known as Mary McConville, formerly of Cloontaghmore, Killashee, and Longford, passed away at the Innis Ree Nursing Home in Ballyleague, surrounded by the compassionate care of the nurses and staff there. Mary was a resident of Cloontaghmore, Killashee, and Longford. Her husband Kevin had predeceased her when he passed away.

Mary’s family, which includes her daughter Emer, sons James and Cathal, grandchildren Hannah and Caoimhin, brother Harry, son-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends, will miss her terribly and think of her with affection in the future.
I hope that she is at peace for all of eternity.

On Thursday evening, prayers will be held at Glennon’s Funeral Home on Ballinalee Road. The viewing will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday evening. On Friday at noon, the celebration of the Mass of the Resurrection will take place at St. Patrick’s Church in Killashee. Following the service, the burial will take place in Ballymacormack cemetery.
